The Western conference actually falls in line with the 1-8; 2-7; 3-6; 4-5 format this year. So, that's a good thing. I get that the Eastern conference is tight with not much difference between seeds 5-8 but still...

I'm rewarding teams with more points the higher seed. That's why I have BOS seeded above WAS and SJ over NSH.

Not a good year for the 'Original 6'. CHI, DET, MTL, and NYR all missed the playoffs.
