Thomas wasn't the full time DH until he was 30 his prime seasons and MVP seasons he was at 1st.

Edgar's bets season came after he had moved away from 3rd. Plus Edgar doesn't have either of the trigger numbers that get you in, 3000 hits, 500 home runs.

Edgar deserves it, 410 OBP in the modern era is crazy. Best DH of all time, and all without having amazing power. I doubt he gets it though, all any one cares about in the voting is the glory stats, not the impact.
