I was joking because of what the player said.
I agree. I know. :laugh3:
I still don't think the Jazz are the worst, of course.

After these 30 or near 30 point losses, it feels that way.

But then if they're the worst team in sports, then what does that make the Lakers with their near 50 point loss? The worst team in both professional and minor league sports combined? Then again, who cares about the Lakers. It's about the Jazz, and getting them back to full domination mode.

Don't really like including near 30 points losses. It either is a 30 point loss or not. My reasoning? If you lose by one point it's a near win but it's not one, is it? If we are down by 31 and we hurry up to get a shot in the basket and we only lose by 29, then we earned avoiding that distinction. If a team makes a three-pointer at the buzzer when they were up by 27 points, (making the shot didn't affect the game) that counts, but when the losing team makes a shot at the last-second, why does it not count as avoiding the 30 point loss category?

Fair enough. I'll limit this thread to 30 point losses then.

And I agree, if the losing team makes a shot at the buzzer to reduce the defecit to under 30, then it should count as having avoided a 30 point loss.
