I don't know why. His "legend" has been over-glorified. Bruce Lee's entire career is based on theatrics & speculation. We literally have next to nothing in terms of contests to judge him on. Just 1st-hand accounts from people he trained & a few staged showings. Outside of sparring sessions I don't think he has ever competed in a full-contact bout. At least none recognized by any formal fighting association. Many wild tales have been told about him, so most people see only the legend and have no real evidence. His real ability is thus a subject of speculation.Everyone is an uproar on how shitty of a portrayal that was.
LMAO... When I first watched this movie I completely missed the quick mockery from Brad Pitt around the @4:25s mark.

What? The climax was a dud to you?Best scene in the whole movie.

Pretty sure I rewound the climax 10+ times the first time I watched it.
Yea it was largely just enjoying Pitt & DiCaprio's acting chops... Not a lot else for the most part. Basically just watching the 2 hang out in Hollywood, with sprinkles of story building mixed in. Some good humor here & there, and the climax was a big highlight for me.It was ok and yeah, overall it was better than the Bruce Lee scene, but to be honest - I thought the movie as a whole was overrated. Well done, but I like a lot of other Tarantino movies more.

I've enjoyed all of Tarantino's films and wouldn't call any of them bad. This one definitely belongs on the lower tier of his works though.
Pulp Fiction & Reservoir Dogs are the easy choices... Inglourious Basterds gets the slight edge over KBv1 for my 3rd.Top 3 Tarantino films?
