I been watching your weather, you all have had it in the 60s in Nebraska in 2014. We have not even sniffed the 40s in 2014. Matter of fact, we are going into our third round of Polar Vortex with our lows going back to below zero this next week. Our low for Sunday will be around -10 Farenheit.

We set the record for most snow EVER this year. Snowed last night and this storm Titan(weather channel name) is supposed to get us also.

This is one of those great winters you get to talk about "how I remember the cold", "I walked uphill both ways in the snow and cold."

My brother called me from Colorado bragging how is Golf Course opened on Friday February 28. I sent him a picture of my shoveled snow pile from my driveway that is 7 FEET high(by the driveway) and weighs approximately 60,000 pounds. The snowpile is built on a seven degree slope, so the back side of it is around 16 feet high.

You all need to man up and enjoy this Great Winter of 2013-2014.

My bad news, I am on my last batch of split firewood for this weekend.

We haven't had a snowy winter by any means. I've only used the snow blower once. Everything else has been little 1" stuff.
It has been a long winter with ice on the lakes since early December. I think winter started in early November. We are far above average for days with below zero 'actual' temperatures on the season.

We're supposed to get 3-5" of snow today with -10 to -20 below wind chills.

Not much longer and the Tulips will be popping through the ground. (2 weeks)
