This just hurt these past days, losing 3 times to the lowly Astros.

To Record-low crowds.

I have officially given up interest in the M's this season.

I still have the Dodgers and the Cardinals anyway.

Yeah, at least the Dodgers found a way to turn their season around when they needed to. I will give them more than credit due.

About them, though, when MLB stepped in to investigate them and assume temporary ownership, what steps were taken, and can the same be applied to Mariners' management if the need be?

its because the team knows theres not chance to make the playoffs, management is getting rid of veterans/bringing up prospects, and as for the low attendance the NFL season started and the seahawks are the talk of the town so right now nobody is caring about the mariners.

Most people haven't cared about the M's for a long time.

There are only a handful of real die hard baseball fans left, and the writing is on the wall for us.

There are a lot of Magoos out there that just say "rebuilding" over and over again and genuinely believe that this massive failure of an organization is heading towards winning baseball in the next 5 years. They are fucking morons who have been had, and good.

Yesterday's game was a perfect description of our season and really how its been for a long time. Not fundamentally sound.
Iwakuma goes 7 shutout innings, we out hit them 10-4 and we are....
1.Terrible at hitting w/risp
2.running into outs on the bases
3.not getting bunts down
4.making errors in the field
5.not getting the runner home from 3rd with less than 2 outs.
6. To top it off walk the bases loaded and lose on a passed ball.

It just goes to show unfundamentally sound this baseball team is. It has nothing to do with spending money to get free agents. I know most people probably didnt care enough to watch the game and I dont blame you, its the same game we have been watching all year and most of the last 5 years.

I think the way this has tail-spinned you could see Wedge and Z both lose their jobs. Whether that's the right call or not I dont even know at this point. I do know if they are fired my confidence level in Chuck and Howie to hire good or decent zero. Im glad they have figured out how to make a penny, good for them, because its come at the expense of turning this franchise into the joke of the city and one of the jokes in the MLB
