The 3-4 isn't some magical fix.

You need a true Nose Tackle. Vincent Valentine fits the bill. Shit you would want him to GAIN a little weight. Guys like Santos and Anderson are way too small to come up in run support as often as they would be asked to in a 3-4.

If you look at it, Alabama's prototypical linebacker is 6-4 250 and runs like a deer. They bring in a crop of top 5 ideal 3-4 LB's every year.

Our guys are 6 foot nothing 210 and most of them are slow.

I just think it might give us a better chance........maybe instead of allowing teams to nickle and dime us all the way down the field, we'll get some 2-3 yard stops and force some 3-and-outs......
