Interestingly, Mason Black started today for the RiverCats, and threw 5 innings of shut out ball, allowing only 4 hits and no walks while striking out 5. He was pulled after throwing a mere 68 pitches.

I want to give Jefferies more of a look than 1 bad start, but knowing that Black (and Roupp) are salivating for a chance means that he won’t be given TOO much rope.

We knew coming in that Soler was a very streaky hitter. So far, nothing we have seen disproves that.

we usually come here for our anniversary at the end of August. Decided to come here post-Easter. We usually stay near Cannery Row or an AirBnB in PG. This morning, I walked to the lighthouse, about seven miles round trip. Tomorrow we walk the other way to Lou Lou’s for breakfast, then Lucy’s in PG for lunch. We will go to the MBA on Wednesday. We are good friends with one of the divers, he gets us passes.
