After the first round, I think we go WR, RB, DE, or S in the second round. I'd be stoked if Upshaw, Miller, Hill, Jeffrey, or Rueben fell to us in the second.

Jenkins would be intriguing if he was there, as well. I doubt we'd take him, but Jenkins, Kirkpatrick, and Hall would be a hell of a CB duo. Zimmer could even move one of them to safety, which would fill another need.

I would love Sanu. I've seen several round 2 mocks where he's there at the Bengals pick. I think he's a classic #2/possesion kind of guy that would exploit defenses that key on AJ.

I have a feeling we'll take a DL or a LB

The WR the Bengals office wants will still be there in the 3rd round.

I wonder, could we take another OL?

A lot of talk about Sanu's lack of separation. Cris Collinsworth thinks he'll struggle in the NFL because he doesn't beat guys.

Wonder what we would do if Amini Silatolu or Cordy Glenn are still there with our 2nd round pick?

I doubt we take either one, but both would help upgrade that OL, especially since Glenn grades out as a tackle and we are probably losing Andre Smith next year.

so whats the prediction here folks?

position and/or player

I think we'll take the best OLB/DL hybrid on the board.

I am gonna say WR. I think a good OLB/DE guy makes sense, but with our serious need for a WR and hopefully one of the big guys fall to us..I can't see us passing.

Why not trade up in the 2nd to pick one of the big 3 WRs left, give up our 2nd, one of our 3rds and a 5th?

Imho WR is the position of most need now, except for S, and there is no help left at that position. Marvin does love those hybrids though, doesn't he?

I actually saw Joe Reedy (I think it was) say that Marvin Lewis is looking for another David Pollack.

I'm hoping its a WR as Stephen Hill, Rueben Randle or Alshon Jeffery should all be available. But I'm still in shock that the Bengals passed on DeCastro last night so at this point I have no idea what this team is planning.

They don't have a plan. A blindfolded retarded deaf monkey throws darts at index cards tacked to a pegboard.

Lamar Miller along with Sanu, Jeffery and Randle still there.

Should be able to fill a big need coming up...
