Series Thread: 2nd Round: Washington Wizards vs Atlanta Hawks

They let teams back into games and we just watched a series where they not only let Brooklyn back into games, they let them tie up the series. Plus, they ran away from everybody for the first half of the season, but were somewhat average after the all-star break.

Meanwhile, the Wizards swept the Raptors who were a better team than Brooklyn. Plus, the "everyman" nature of the Hawks roster doesn't help. They have no "go to" guy.

I'll give them a pass for their struggles after the AS break since the coach decided to start resting guys in february.

Everything else I agree with.

If they allow Washington to steal this that would be very bad

Of course I thought about that. However, championship caliber teams know how to put their foot on the other teams throat and close a series and/or game quickly. Washington showed that vs. the Raptors, the Hawks did not do the same vs. the Nets.

Yep and they're going to realize early in this series that this isn't Brooklyn and Washington will make you pay for these meltdowns and steal a game or 2

Going into the season, most people thought Wizards were better then the Hawks.

Wizards winning this series wouldn't surprise me at all.

Atlanta is just not the same team as the regular season. They look so up and down. The reason they had a great season because they played great team ball.
