This is why Simmons isnt and never will be a top player. No jumpshot and too often a no show. He’s young I get it but he looks to never have a jumpshot

He really does. His talent is obvious, but I'm starting to wonder about his desire to get better.

Imo, he's in danger of becoming like Dwight Howard. Talented enough to put up all star caliber numbers most years...but doesn't put in the work to improve enough to actually be a guy that a can lead a team to a title.

My two favourite non-Kawhi things about this is 1) Chris Paul just straight comes out, gives you everything he is and in ten years has never gotten the proper help he deserves, and 2) I never would've thought Klay would be behind so many guys.

I could beat Kawhi 1-on-1.

Sure, he might have the edge in things like strength, shooting, driving, finishing, skill, stamina, etc.

But I have the edge in stick-to-it-iveness, lunch-pail-work-ethic and never-say-die-attitude.

Intangibles would win out in the end.

I think you would have a good shot.

But only if Kawhi took a load management day.
