The leagues entire foul rules need to be revamped.

No pkayer should ever be disqualified. At 6 and after it should be 2 shots and the ball.
Only sport in the world where teams best players can be taken out of a game and especially because so many of the calls are wrong.

Also, even with the rules as is, players should be given another foul if games go to OT, assuming you haven't fouled out prior to OT.

That is actually a really interesting idea. I would like for that to be discussed more.

this a million times over. it just wrecks the game, even in small, generally unnoticed ways. This game for instance, shortly after LeBron picked up his 1st foul there was a play where the big helped on a drive and LeBron came from the weak corner to help on the big under the hoop. Ball got to the big (it was Taj) and LeBron just stopped and let him dunk with even though he was in perfect position for a block. He just knew that its too risky for miss and nick and arm and/or the refs to make a bad call so he just let him go.

Now in the grand scheme of things it was ONE bucket in the first half. But there are probably 5-10 plays like this in most games where players don't play transition/help/on ball D because they can't pick up another foul, and frankly, it does ruin the game and sucks to see. I thought i was about to see a nasty lebron block. instead he made the smart play and let the other team score an easy bucket

I would disagree with u but your idea would stop refs from worry about anything but making the correct call. so im for it

People that pay to go/ sit home and watch games want to see the best players play for as long as possible.

2 shots and the ball is a pretty substantial penalty, especially if it happens a few times in a game.

I think players would still have to play within the mindset of not picking up fouls, but if for some reason they have a night here or there when it just isn't going there way, at least they know that they still will have the opportunity to be on the court.

I am so sick of refs abusing double technicals to avoid really punishing players for shit like taunting.

I see you're point, but overall we already have way too many instances where players sitting on the bench because of bad fouls takes a lot away from the game.
