The Cavs are really playing very tough basketball. It is not always pretty- but you can see they are giving everything they have-----the Bulls just blow it so bad for huge stretches. They are such a good deep team too- I dont know why Snell isnt put on the court to challenge Kyrie as soon as Rose is taken off the court.

The Cavs have been just a tough tough team in this series.

I still have no clue how its going to end- The Bulls will probably be favored in their home court tomorrow night- especially if GAsol is active----- and the CAvs will be favored at home for a potential game 7

I just hope the CAvs shoot lights out next game and finish it- its the one advantage the CAvs have other Bulls- The Cavs have shot-makers- guys that just take and make tough shots all the time

Kyrie, Bron, JR, even Iman took some tough little step back 18 footers he drilled--Thompson is great at finishing in traffic....(Mozgov cant finish in traffic to save his fucking life- why is it every time he goes in for what looks like an easy dunk - the ball pops out and Chicago has a fastbreak going the other way)-

The Bulls only real guy who is a true "shot-maker" in my opinion is Dunleavy- the Cavs let him get hot at their peril....Butler has been better than i thought shooting from the outside- but i dont THINK he can make 3 threes in three trips down the court like a JR can- Dunleavy can.....

CAvs just guard Dunleavy on the outside, make life tough for Butler and Rose getting to the rim- Gibson and Noah cant really hurt you too bad offensively.....Gasol totally changes it...

should be an interesting game 6......

Could not say it better than Windhorst did today

CLEVELAND -- Why do teams plan, covet and connive for years in advance of LeBron James free agencies?

Why do they let him sign whatever contract he wants, change plays when he sees fit, pick teammates, approve or reject trades, hire hand-picked support staff, set travel schedules and occasionally jab the coach with a controversial comment or two?

Because in a season-on-the-line playoff game he can score 38 points on 24 shots with 12 rebounds, six assists with no turnovers and one of the biggest blocked shots of his career that might have saved the game.

That is why.

IF LeBron can somehow will the Cavs to a win in this series considering the injuries, the suspensions, and everything else, it would be truly amazing.

Gosh- whatever team gets out of this series is going to be beat to crap to play - probably Atlanta- who seem pretty healthy just not that great right now. Personally- id rather face the Wiz sans Wall- but i do not think that is going to happen.

The Pressure in this series was on the Cavs for almost the entire first 4 games. It shifted a little in game 5- to the Bulls- but now its REALLY on the Bulls.

I expect the Bulls defense and energy to be high with their backs against the wall- but how will their shots fall? Will they get a little tight? IF the Cavs cover Dunleavy can anyone else make more than one or two threes? Should be interesting

He was due for one of those. Bulls better hope he got it out of his system.
def off topic- but is USC football gonna be good again anytime soon? I remember them beating the crap outta the Bucks a few years ago- but then not really doing much at the end of the season- and now it seems they have really recently fallen back.....was it the Reggie Bush sanctions?

I am spoiled as a Bucks fan because pretty much no matter what- every year the Bucks are at least relevant- No team in college football over the last 2 decades has stayed as consistently good as the Bucks- even Alabama was not Alabama till Saban got there....Texas- fallen off the map, USC- fallen off the map- FSU is back but they were gone for a long time- Michigan off the map, ND off the map, --Auburn off and on, Florida has fallen off the map...Wisky is good and bad along with MSU in the Big 10...Georgia off and on...no one has really won at a high level for so many years as the Bucks

USC could be "back" as early as this season and should definitely be back by next season. The sanctions definitely hurt, especially the scholarship reductions. USC started last season with 67 scholarship players and had 52 by the end of the season. This year we will start with 75 and next year will be back to 85.

All things considered, we handled the sanctions better than expected by most. Never had a losing season, had two 10 win seasons, finished in the top 25 in 3 or 4 of the 5 seasons including #5 in the nation 1 season. Definitely not the standards USC fans are used to, but really can't complain considering the obstacles. There are probably at least 100 schools that would love to have a 5 year run like that even without sanctions.

Why is there 115 pages of this thread? Lol
Yeah, you wouldn't think the Cleveland fans that are sucking off Lebron would be able to come out for air as much as they do during the deed, but they do.

Predictions of Game 6?

I just want Lebron to be in the same attack mode. They need to put them away, no game 7 please.

Cavs need to treat this like game 7. I'm not sure of the scenarios for ECF schedule... but a day or two extra of rest would be significant.

Yeah, you wouldn't think the Cleveland fans that are sucking off Lebron would be able to come out for air as much as they do during the deed, but they do.

We were on the receiving end of Jordan- the Cavs had some really really good teams that could have done something with Daughtery, Price, Nance, Hot Rod, Ehlo etc..but they kept running into some guy named Jordan.

You guys have a really really good team with Butler, Rose, Gibson, Noah, Gasol, etc. but the fact remains - the Cavs have LeBron.

Now- if there EVER WAS GOING TO BE A YEAR when Chicago could win- this would be there year. If they choke this situation away it is going to haunt them for a while. Thibs- gone, maybe trade Noah, who knows.

EXACTLY - Windhorst was saying that he believed if the Cavs pull off the road win tonight- they would probably play game 1 next Wednesday- that would be almost a week for Irving to get better.....

I cant wait to see the first quarter of the game tonight- i think it will tell a lot- nothing would surprise me- this series has been so crazy from game to game not one scenario would surprise me

It is crucial they put this Bulls team away now. For rest and just bc anything can happen in a Game 7.
Lebron needs to come out like this is it and attack like he did in Game 5. I dont want any settling till we have a 17 point lead :laugh3:
