I have no fucking idea on this one. I was leaning Portland but they might not have any big men with Kanter questionable.

Even though Murray came up clutch at the end, I was overall not impressed with the Nuggs in the first round...

With Nurkic out I don't see how Portland can stop Jokic. And if Kanter is out too it doesn't look good for the Trailblazers.

Also if you look at the regular season between these 2, the first 2 games Denver won by 1 point and 3 points, then thre 3rd game Denver won by 9 points. Then the only game Portland won Denver didn't even play Jokic, Millsap, or Murray and they still only lost by 7.

Obviously the playoffs are different game than the regular season but It seems like Portland can't keep up with Denver.

Dont read too much into the Spurs series honestly to predict this series. Denver is really good, but so was SA.
The Spurs were not really a #7 seed.

The Spurs had 4 new starters. It took them nearly 2 months of losing to figure out how to play all the new guys.
The Spurs finished on 40-24 kick, and it was actually 38-18 with Derrick White.
Had they played together beforehand, this Spurs team was more like a top 3 seed instead of a 7.

I think Denver takes this series in a much shorter than expected series, maybe even 5 games??
I will root for Lillard, but it seems like a bad matchup for them especially with a wounded Kanter.

OKC swept Portland in the regular season, so that theory doesn't have legs. If the Blazers had Nurk & Kanter they would be the favorite, Denver is the clear favorite now.

I think Denver can win this just on the fact of those injuries by Portland. Lillard is on fire so I wouldnt be surprised if Portland took this series....Even with all the mistmatches and injuries for Portland, I think Lillard is playing that great right now.

I will take Portland in 7

Denver in 7

Jokic mismatch will eventually tilt the series, but I don't think Denver has a great answer for Lillard/McCollum either.

This.

Considering the level we're playing at, if we had a center I think we may take this. But now we will have to double Jokic and Denver will find open jumpers. This will be hard.

nobody on Portland is going to be able to guard that tall white dude for Denver...Jokic
Racist.

He's not a 'tall white dude'. He's a Saltine American. Who talks with a thick accent.
