And there isn’t anyone else’s on the edge 40 to add depth there. D’Arnaud is playing well, but he isn’t on the 40. Panik and Hanson are hurt. KT is a backup. Gomez is too raw right now. No kids are on the horizon to push in the next couple years.

He plays two positions. Both those positions are locked down hard. He is flashing a decent bat and seems to be in shape and in the proper mindset. Why not see if he can become a super util? Even if it isn’t ready in time to fill the current need.
