What will you put when Smitty takes 9 from a certain year?

I won't have to worry about that, i'm sure you'll offer him your 25th pick for the best player from said year!

I don't think 500, Steve or Milk know we have started so it could be a while.

I would offer Bo Jackson and my 26th pick for his best player and his next pick. Your offer was to fair.

No problem, not supposed to start till Monday anyway. It is going to be really interesting to see how these next 8-10 picks shake out, the first 5 were pretty much chalk, but there are several ways to go starting nowish

Not that any of the first five are bad picks or reaches I just think there are a couple other players who also could have gone in the top 5.

I'm in agreement with UK it will be interesting to see when people use their WC pick.

I've kicked it around both ways. It would have to be a superstud I think, cause it would cure come in handy later in the draft:noidea:

If you take steroids I hope you have a doctors note. In this draft I've noticed steroid users aren't judged harshly like they are in Hall of fame voting.

I don't. MLB let them play, so do we. It's my opinion, if they eliminated all the players in the 3 major sports that are doing steroids, including baseball, over half the players across the board would be wiped out

Johnson and Gehrig, possibly Bonds. But the top 5 is always questionable. I had Ruth anc Mays in the top 5 no matter what though

Me personally I wouldn't have taken Bonds in the top 5. I think Babe, Walter and Gehrig all could make a case for #1 overall. Then there are a couple others who fall into the 4 - 7 range Mays and Bonds included.

Just my opinion.

bonds would have been my pick if i had the #2 pick... unless of course steroids hurts his value...
