When the CFB season kicks off in 2014, the entire landscape of college football will be different than when it was 25 years earlier in 1990.

- Miami, West Virginia, Penn State and South Carolina were Independents.
- Colorado, Nebraska, and Missouri were in the Big 8.
- The SWC still existed.
- ACC had 8 Schools.

Wisconsin might look about the same as they did in 1990.... Although Bielema just fired the new OL coach. So we may save this season. Apparently, communication was a big problem on the field, and not just between players.

All sorts of changes. I graduated high school in 1990. Football is totally different now than it was then.

I could walk up to any game at Autzen up until and through kickoff and get a pretty decent seat. I would drive down after I got my license in 1988 for lots of the games. I could even park right next to the stadium.

We'll never know. Switzer had Tom's number no doubt. And the team he left behind had good players and you know Switzer would still have been recruiting players to compete with Texas and Nebraska...
