Maybe they are trying to showcase Irwin for a trade. Other than that I have no answer as to why he's in the line up and Demers is out. Though, Demers might be banged up a little. He did block a couple shots off his hoof last game. Maybe the they are just giving him some time off before the back-to-back against St. Louis and Anaheim.
