Are you seeing if RB at 20 is taken trade up in RD2 IDLHey is, but he doesn't have his right hand man that is cheering him on to make such crazy decisions. Loomis was just as bad as Payton about not being patient and I don't think they were always good for each other. Payton and Paton paired together gives each side some nice balance. Seems like 1st round has been stay put where day 2 is when Paton let's Payton do what he wants a little more.
I hear what you are saying, but if Payton with a Y wants to move up, the Broncos will move up. Paton will be a voice of reason, but this is Payton's team and his call to make.Hey is, but he doesn't have his right hand man that is cheering him on to make such crazy decisions. or
IDL at 20 Trade up in RD 2 for RB
or
WR at 20 trade up or back IDL/TE/RB
I agree a hundred percentI hear what you are saying, but if Payton with a Y wants to move up, the Broncos will move up. Paton will be a voice of reason, but this is Payton's team and his call to make.

Trading up for Golden is newest thing floating around
I have been seeing this a lot. Not sure what to make of it. I don't think I would like seeing what we would have to give up to move that high (assuming Jeanty is the target, which I agree with you in that he HAS to be the target if we jump that high). I feel like we would be lucky to find a deal to move up for him that does not involve next year's #1 or at least a 2nd and a 3rd. But, I can also see us not caring what we had to give up for him because he is that good.Schefter reporting today that the Broncos have made inquiries into moving up in round 1. Sean Payton smokescreen or a real consideration? Can't think of who they would move up for except maybe Jeanty. My guess is smokescreen.

At the end of the day, I feel like we stay at 20 and end up with Henderson or Hampton.
I would like that a lot less than moving up for Jeanty.Ian Rapaport said the Broncos are not trying to trade up for a RB but for a WR. They are trying to get ahead of the Cowboys at 12 to take Matthew Golden is what is being reported. I am not a fan of this decision. I do not like Golden. Taking a WR that high that only became a true #1 WR option because of injury the last few games of his last season in college football does not really make me feel like he could become a true #1 in the NFL. Heck he wasn't even the second best WR on his college team the first couple of years at Houston.

I would like that better than Jeanty or Golden.Jeanty I could get a bit more on board. Helps both the pass and run game and is a true blue chip player. There is also talk the Broncos really really like Graham for the DL. IF say Sanders goes earlier than expected and Graham starts to fall a bit I could see the Broncos making the choice to try and trade up for him. He is one of the cleanest prospects in this entire draft and keeps your DL looking really strong for a while now. The idea of him and Allen on the same DL is definitely intriguing.
