I think Badie and McLaughlin are good depth backs for this offense, but Estime hasn't been the bull he was in college since being demoted for fumbles.

100% agree on the depth at RB. We have depth we just need a guy or two. We don't need to "dump" all of our RB's from last year. We got what we need for depth. People also forget how good Blake Watson was in college and was one of the best receiving RB's in last years draft. Payton very high on him.

Estime just wasn't healthy last year.. Sure, he needs to get better at protecting the ball but his role would have been larger if for 2 things. 1. He was healthy and 2. Payton could trust him pass protecting for his rookie QB. Javonte wasn't good last year but he is a great pass protector which is why Payton kept him in there.

Estime will take a leap this year. He showed out in PS now we just need to be able to trust him.

I like what I have seen of them, they've made plays. They're just small. We can get better fits this year that will make them irrelevant.

In fact, honestly? You can keep Estime because he might turn out to be something and then dump every single Running Back on our roster. Refill this year with draft and UDFA.

Badie and Watson are the two I want to see what they bring to the table this offseason. Badie in the very limited reps he got last year looked like the best runner of the football on the roster. He was the one that actually could find a little crease and turn it into a big play for us. There is a reason the Broncos kept him around after his injury and even gave him a shot on the 53-man roster for the playoffs. I think Payton really likes him and Watson it all depends on the type of RB we get in this draft of whether he has a shot with this team or not.

Take a look at guys like LeQuint Allen, Brashard Smith, Bhayshul Tuten. They can do what our guys can but they're a little bigger. They run tougher, catch better, and can pass block more effectively. This draft is loaded with guys who are better than what we have and they won't cost much draft capital.

The RB position has an extremely quick transition from college to the pros. We'd be getting an almost immediate return on the investment.

Oh I've watched them all. And I do like them. Have a couple of issues with each of their games, but for the most part would be very happy to see what they could do in Denver. I just mostly want to see the Broncos take a RB high in the draft to be our starter and then a later round guy to then compete with guys like Estime, Badie, Watson, and McGlaughlin

You can judge by watching ;)... Cool but Henderson is the best pass protecting RB in this class and probably any class of the last 10 years. Doesn't mean Allen isn't good at it, he is good at it. Henderson is just on another level for pass protecting RB's, a rare level. Allen is near the top this year.
And our GM has hinted this is real important I think I seen him say it twice now ...Add in he fits all what Payton wants .

Good video. Yeah I thought the question about Payton taking RB in the 1st round twice was the one they definitely did not expect to get asked. If I was a betting man I think the list of realistic options at pick 20 have been narrowed down to 5 names at 2 different positions.

1) Omarion Hampton
2) TreVeyon Henderson
3) Derrick Harmon
4) Walter Nolen
5) Kenneth Grant

I don't have them in any particular order, but it does seem like the Broncos have really narrowed it down to 2 positions unless someone talented falls to them. DT wise it seems like they are debating between right now production in guys like Grant and Harmon compared to possible huge upside in a guy like Nolen but might not get much out of him year 1.

I'm going to laugh hysterically if they pull another Surtain on us and go with someone they didn't even meet with like Banks

I am hoping someone trading us one or two slots for a QB and we end up with Walter Nolen

then still end up with TreVeyon Henderson .Strang I know but it might just happen .. I think steelers might just bite .
