I like Sawyer. Not a sure fire physical prospect, but I think he pans into a player

I think he will fit well with Evero in Carolina. He does well with players like Sawyer/ Josey Jewell. etc. Ballers who aren't physical beasts but give you everything and have a high football IQ.

Really like the Joshua Farmer pick for SF. He is in my top 50. Was surprised he was still around.

Looking back at last years draft.

Funny, Cardinals GM (Red Snow) took Bo Nix in Round 3...

This year Cardinals GM (Femmy) takes Jaxson Dart in Round 3...

Smart drafting Cardinals. You will have that in mocks but funny how the Cardinals benefitted from this in back to back years and took the plunge.

It would be interesting to see where all of the starting QBs are based on how they got drafted on this board.

I know I drafted Mahomes to the Chiefs and I believe Baker Mayfield to the Dolphins.

It does sound like more and more the top 3 will be Ward, Hunter/Carter at 2 or 3. I think Sanders to the Saints makes sense

Since the DK trade, Pittsburgh has got the freaks that can win contested stuff at the catch point at WR in spades (If only they had a real QB to deliver them all the ball :-| ). What they don't have (other than a real QB) is a guy who can instantly get open and has the good sense to know precisely where the sticks are on key downs ("Ayahuasca Pete" should love that). Restrepo takes care of all of that. Tough little bastard to boot. He'll stick a guy when he has to.

I certainly intended to address WR at some point this draft (given there's just about zero chance they'll be keeping headcase Pickens past this year, Roman Wilson reportedly is as sharp as a bag of wet mice, and Austin III is also a UFA in '26), but I can't say XR was a prime target coming in to it. Given how it's broken down, I'm pretty satisfied getting him in the third here and do not care about the 40 time from the pro day. Don't need him running 9 routes anyway. "Perfect" for what they're lacking in that room right now and should be able to contribute pretty quickly.

My target this round was Savion Williams. I also like Xavier Restrepo. A guy I had on my college fantasy team for 3 years. ;)... Sure, he doesn't have the straight line speed but he finds ways to get open and he is tough as nails. He probably isn't a Sean Payton type of WR though.

My best value player left is a player that Denver is pretty deep at...

I went with Quincy Riley, a player I have loved since watching him his SOPH year. I think he goes higher then people realize come real draft. Denver has what I would call 3 good CB's but Riley Moss typically misses a few weeks of the season dating back to college and when Surtain was out last year Denver clearly had no other CB after their top 3 that could step up. Damarri Mathis after looking good his rookie year hasn't been the same and he and McMillian (their #3 CB who has played well) are both FA's after next year. Riley was just too good for me to pass here. Ballhawk who can play the slot or outside. Tackling is pretty good, could get a little better ad probably will but really like him. He also seems to fit the mold of what Payton/Joseph like to add to their defense. IMO, the value was there and the position is something that Denver could really take at any time of the draft. Top 3 are good but almost need 4 good CB's in the AFC West. Both starting CB's went down for a few weeks last year and it wasn't pretty behind them.

For the first time in a few years Denver doesn't have 7 blazing needs. I forgot what it was like to draft without a crap load of needs. Looked at DL and WR here but thought Riley's value was much better.

Restrepo and wilson in b2b 3rd rounds means they have some fun spread sets.
