I posted this last year in the months leading up to the draft and told by a few that it was a bad comparison. I disagreed and still do, because I believe that JDs work will ultimately win doubters over. I understand the concern over health, but fear has never been a thing with me, and to be frank, ( insert joke here) big or small QBs like every other player, get hurt/injured too.
I,ll give him a few regular season Games before heaping praise.
I'm hoping Peters can build the type of line the Lions have. Once a line like that is in place here, I think we take off. Two very different QBs, but if JD can match Burrow's passing numbers and maybe pick his spots running, he'll be hell on wheels.I posted this last year in the months leading up to the draft and told by a few that it was a bad comparison. In time I'm sure Peters is going to do his thing, but in the meantime this group doesn't appear to be the type that stands still. They want to win now, and I'm not sure how aggressively they plan to move after cut down or with regards to trades.I'm hoping Peters can build the type of line the Lions have.
