Edge guys in a 3-4 are linebackers in reality. Depends on the intent of the thread. DAngelo Malone is also an EDGE (or 3-4 OLB).
I would take him as a project for an off the ball linebacker. I think he has the smarts to learn it.
I don't think he has the frame for edge in the NFL

I'd like to see Troy Anderson taken by the Patriots in the 3rd but they have a bigger need for CB with 1st 3rd round pick?
They do have another 3rd round pick......

Some Miami fans were hoping for Tindall and they got him. Sideline to sideline lots of speed good tackler. Should fit their system and is much needed I'm ecstatic with this offseason so far.

I was hoping he would fall to the Seahawks next pick, but I knew it was unlikely.

Chiefs got Chenal a good round later than I thought he'd go. He doesn't do everything but he does the things the Chiefs need in a linebacker.

If he turns out good it will be a great draft and more importantly offseason for the Fins. I'm pretty excited.

It will be interesting to see how these two players turn out as the Fins had the choice there. I think they went for speed and upside over a higher rated player in Chenal.

Both the Rams and Bills waited on LBs (well, the Rams didn't have much choice lol) and went pretty small. Bills got two will/nickel OLB types and the Rams got a mini Edge.

And lastly we have Brian Asmoah

My Vikes drafted him and I was wowed by the games I went back an watched of him. Great college LB.

.....but the problem is that he is just too damn small to make it in the league at LB. I was thinking maybe they were thinking of moving him to an in the box safety when they took him as the Vikes will start to switch to a 3-4 alignment and the LB's will need some beef. But then I saw a thing that he is from Ghana just like our GM. So THAT is the reason we took him.

Just like the guys that the Bills drafted, he's essentially a nickel LB for coverage with blitzing and chase-down ability.
