@Clayton - Do you prefer Lloyd or Dean? Personally I like Lloyd the best.

An interesting day later round pick: Malcolm Rodriguez, Oklahoma State. Small, but all-out effort.

Lloyd is easily the best ILB in this draft. Really has no weakness, has upside... and does basically everything well. He's a great pass coverage and run defender. I'd say Lloyd would probably be a 2nd rounder in a higher end class (similar to Bobby Wagner) but it's a weaker class with not much talent at QB, WR, RB, or TE and a handful of offensive lineman which tapers off after the early 1st projection. So I bet he'll go late teens/early 20s.

If he slips to 25, the Bills will have a revealing decision to make, since Tremaine Edmunds has an extension looming and there were some rumors about being on the block during the draft. It would be as revealing as the Bills taking a safety early, knowing that Poyer is looking for an extension and hired Rosenhaus.

All those expecting CB, WR, IOL or RB early for the Bills could see LB and/or S instead, especially if Lloyd were to slip.

Lloyd is an athlete. Great in coverage. Can rush the passer. Can hit.

.....but go watch game tape of him and you will see he isnt a good run defender. Really poor read and react skills for a LB. I was absolutely floored by his poor showing when I watched a couple of Utah State games this year for a guy that was being projected by people as a 1st rounder.

Did Jackson switch to linebacker last year or something? He was an edge rusher the two times he plays America’s team.

His tape above says defensive end, so I would say edge is likely still.

I dont see any sure fire self made superstars in this class. Guys that would be special for any team in any system. But depending on who ends up where, I can easily see Quay Walker ending up as the best from this class. He's got the highest attainable upside imo.

I think Chenal will be the best of the bunch but I haven't looked at this position group too closely

But thought the point was about linebackers

Edge guys in a 3-4 are linebackers in reality. Depends on the intent of the thread. DAngelo Malone is also an EDGE (or 3-4 OLB).

I think he even put on weight at his pro day. Drake Jackson is a bendy player. He'll be an edge rusher.
