Lindsay Whalen thanked Burger King. She said when she arrived at her first far away basketball camp, in Twin Cities, she was nervous and didn't want to go in. She negotiated a deal where if she went inside and went to camp, she could get a Whopper Jr. on the way back.
George Karl's intro video didn't mention the Sacramento Kings. Neither did Karl himself.
Karl, to Payton: "You were a nightmare to coach."
"How many times did we butt heads?"
Payton: "Too many."
Payton was one of the presenters for Karl.
Swin Cash said Bill Laimbeer cried when she tore her ACL in 2004. It was rare to see Laimbeer cry. Laimbeer was her coach.
