While I respect your gumption coach, Ron isn't taking a RB at 19. I think we all agree with you that Gibson needs a upgrade from Barber behind him. You will see one but not at 19. May come in the form of a 1 year vet deal. (Gurley or Bell) Likely another in rounds 3-7 which is where we picked up Gibson last year.

I agree that Parsons, JOK or Derrishaw may not be drafted EVEN if they are available at 19, BUT what I can promise is Najee won't be the pick.
Also RR said he likes what he has at Oline, but that doesn't mean he won't take one 1st, We really need to wait and see how the draft goes,
then you'll see people making off-season mocks. Najee "looks" like he could be the next Henry or Bell but....Id rather sign Conner, Bell or Gurley

The Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions are reportedly among the teams willing to trade back in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported both have had talks with teams that could look to trade up. The Falcons are set to pick fourth and the Lions seventh in the first round.

While Trevor Lawrence has been locked in as the Jacksonville Jaguars' top pick for months, the New York Jets can go in numerous directions with the No. 2 overall selection. New York's decision will likely come down to quarterbacks Zach Wilson and Justin Fields, or outside playmakers like DeVonta Smith and Ja'Marr Chase.

Offensive tackles Penei Sewell and Rashawn Slater, linebacker Micah Parsons and tight end Kyle Pitts are likely to hear their names come off the board early in Round 1.
