for sure.

Damn- Garland is so good

i am so glad the Cavs didnt trade him for a 5% chance at a "star" like @tlance thought would be the smart move. lol.

just get as many of those W's as they can- gonna have to fight and scratch and claw for everyone from here on out.

Go ahead and keep trolling.

That “star” was needed to keep LeBron James.

And it wasn’t Garland I said they should trade. It was the pick used to acquire Sexton long before Garland was even on the roster.

They could have easily decided to pack it in and sell if they failed to resign LeBron even after making win now moves to keep him.

Aside from drafting Sexton, pretty much everything else that Cleveland has done could have still happened had they made 1 more push to sure up the roster and keep LeBron in the summer of ‘18.

What I said, and what I stand by when I said it is that a core of Garland, Okoro, Sexton isn’t getting you anywhere. Mobley might be the piece that changes trajectory. And I always allowed for that possibility.

Garland, Mobley and Allen could be pretty nice for a few years, but you also punted a chance to contend in 2019 and might have still been able to get these pieces.

Kyrie pisses me off but when he is on, not one person on this flat earth can stop him
The Hornets did absolutely nothing to try and stop him, or anyone really. They looked lost and lazy until the game was completely out of reach and then decided to turn on the Jets. This is a very frustrating trend with them.

wrong.

you said the Cavs should trade Garland and SExton since they wouldnt be stars and that getting picks for them would at least give a 5% chance t oget a star.

Geesh. With Maxey that's a Big3 1/2 if not a Big4
You think Maxey and Harris would have to be included, if that's the case I actually think they keep Maxey imo. It would be hard to imagine keeping Maxey and acquiring Beal....

I’d rather use the Harris salary to package picks along with Harris to grab some depth pieces that value rebounding, defense, and 3 pt shooting if Beal means Maxey goes. Maxey is younger and cheaper and plenty enough to go with Embiid/Harden.

I agree. Maxey shoots the ball better too

Yep with Maxey's growth he has shown he can absolutely be the 3rd guy. They have their core and big 3, now they just need to build around it.

How would they go about that lol
Only way I see it:
- Harden opts out and takes much less than what he’s worth
- Beal also leaves a ton of money on the table
- Sixers can find someone who is willing to take on Tobias Harris and it somehow results in Sixers taking back way less than the 37 million he is owed on the cap now.

In other words, it’s an implausible pipe dream.

Waiting to see the Sixer fans say no to Maxey being included.....but they are in win now mode and Beal fits with Embiid and Harden.
