Draymond is more important to the Warriors than people want to admit.
Their team defense is night and day different but he also affects their half court roles. They really need him back.

Why even show up? Conceding a game on a 4 game losing streak when they possibly can fall to 4th is silly

Klay Thompson:

17.1 ppg - previous 4 years: 21.5, 20.0, 22.3, 22.1

41.9% from the field- previous 4 years he played: 46.7, 48.8, 46.8, 46.8

37.7% from 3- previous 4 years he played: 40.2, 44.0, 41.4, 42.5

no where near the same defensively

1 30 point game in 20 gams played.

obviously it is going to take time for him to get comfortable after missing 2+ years. But as I have said many times- Klay will never get back to what he was. He will still have big games. Will still shoot extremely well. But he is not, and will not be- what he once was- ESPECIALLY defensively.

Cavs going through the growing pains.

Love is shooting like crap lately as well.

There trade for LeVert has pretty much been for naught thus far.

Hope they can hang on to a playoff spot- have a tough schedule coming up.

they need Garland healthy, and they need LeVert back ASAP. Unfortunately- it looks like Garland is going to have to play through the injury for a while.

not really seeing this "vaunted" Golden State depth perform.

They still never fixed their front court depth. Looney is a nobody. Wiseman a bust. Without Draymond they just have no front court play at all. That will have to be something they address in the offseason- especially as Draymond gets older. If they want to count on Wiseman coming around they may be cruising for a bruising.

Kuminga was such a great get though. Only because the draft was so good did he go as late as he did. Cant imagine if they drafted Ball with him- Ball would be perfect to take pressure of Klay coming back and to get Curry off the ball once in a while. Thank goodness they didnt draft him.

Must win for the Spurs on Monday night or else they fall 5.5 games behind the Lakers and a virtual mountain to climb, even with LAL’s brutal remaining schedule.

Gotta give it to LeBron for what he’s doing at 37. The Lakers probably won’t make the playoffs, but he may have earned the #1 spot in my player rankings next summer simply based on what he’s doing at his age.

I mean, several folks, including me, said Lebron was no longer able to will a team to a win on his own.

Ummmmmmm...... Gosh.

That was a magnificent performance.

Eh.

He used to be able to do this for an entire season.

I have been wrong about underestimating LeBron before, but I don’t think that is in the cards.

As impressive as last night was, it was 1 game, the Lakers have lost 7 of their last 10 and they are closer to being out of the playoffs than being the 8 seed in the play in games.

If the Lakers get AD back healthy, they still should be able to win those play-in games. I think it would take a Phoenix Suns playoff upset to prove us wrong.

Not holding my breath on that.
