Oh we’re not gonna go there with the way that game was officiated last night. Mobley already getting iffy calls and the benefit of the doubt 50 games into his career. Cedi Fucking Osman pushing off on Korkmaz hip sending him sprawling and somehow it results in him going to the line?
Go where? I was simply pointing out on the alleged season's best dunk he did, in fact, push off. Never said it should have been called.

Don't recall the Osman play but can say I recall Mobley getting fouls I thought were questionable (meaning, 76er player called for the foul on Mobley)

Embiid took as many FTs, though, as the Cavs....which I cannot even say I knew while watching the game.

I mean it makes sense why right? Dude went for 40/14/10. Cavs clearly couldn’t handle him. Additionally, he goes to the line more than anyone in the league so it isn’t just a tough matchup for the Cavs. I did notice though that Embiid really took advantage of his vet savviness vs Mobley inexperienced. I think nearly every time Embiid was singled up with Mobley he drew a foul including that old CP3 swing through move.

Haha, no doubt refs are terrible . Period.

Knicks fans have no problem with them whatsoever.

Y, cause knicks fuck up so much on their own that bad calls go unnoticed!

No doubt the Cavs did not want Mobley matched up on him one on one for that reason. Pretty sure they always had Allen in when Embiid was in. Not much they can do on the switches.

I'm not at all complaining about the refs, though...again, simply pointing out he did push off on his dunk that's been mentioned.

Another rule change they should make
Disagree. Tell guys to guard Joel Embiid without putting their fucking hands all over him and he doesn’t have a chance to do that. Officials let defenders tickle his Fucking taint while he posts. If they’re going to allow it, he’s going to use it against them.

Not mad at him using it but I hate the rip through move rule. Should be a no call. Should players have their hand behind their back when guarding players like him and CP3?

If you can no longer hand check guards in the NBA then you shouldn’t be able to foul on a guy who is posting in the same way. Most big men don’t have the feet to pivot and face quickly enough to draw that foul. It would be a rule that specifically targets him.

Jason Tatum is beasting and feasting on the Hawks.

Did you see the play where Grant Williams got ran over at the rim? I thought he was late and should have been called for a block. And the refs called nothing.

Not sure.
I missed most of the 1st half..and was fixing breakfast during some of the 3rd qtr.

But the refs have been especially bad this season....more so than usual.
I mean a little touch foul gets called by a ref who's on the other side of the court, while an obvious hard foul by another ref right next to the play doesn't.

Daryl Morey planning for Mike D'Antoni to take over for Doc Rivers?

i_ee_c1_1a_mike-dantoni.png

Rivers might have a more significant problem to manage than merely tuning out the naysayers questioning his presence on the Top 15 list. The conspiracy theory already making the rounds in league coaching circles holds that Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey will eventually want Mike D’Antoni to take over in the hot seat for Philadelphia’s new Joel Embiid/James Harden tag team after D’Antoni’s offensive creativity helped catapult Harden to three scoring titles in Houston.
