I don’t blame Rondo for wanting to “retire” while in LA

It’s been a struggle offensively off and on but defensively he changes the game at times, in a way like Dray. He needs a lot of work on his offense and to gain some weight, that will come in time. I’m hearing Garland is active, probably didn’t want him going back to back.

I’m interested to see how they defend Emniid. JA has trouble with big bodied centers

Early JA Embiid treated him like a rag doll but he’s gotten stronger and more experienced and that condition wasn’t as pronounced in his last few head to heads with Embiid. I think JA has as good a chance as anybody to body him up. You don’t want to put Mobley on him right now because as you say, Mobley needs some weight room. It’s likely Embiid bullies him the way he used to with JA. I would expect Mobley to be the primary cover on Harris.

Their 2nd half defense was much better

A little.

Last 5-7 minutes were incredible (and sure, a lot had to do with opponent and their unfamiliarity with each other). a number of shot clock violations or close where they took late bad shots.

Obviously Levert was so needed as he does seem like he can get that 7-10 foot shot in the lane whenever he wants....and, sure, there will be games where he is not so efficient.

I’m excited to get some more Mobley viewing. What happened to him last night? His box score looked like he slept walked through the game.

Yep Mobley hasn’t been good on offense lately but defense and help defense is amazing. Harden is out this weekend from reports
