Pretty much all of them. They know that if they can get some rest during the game, they will have more left at the end of the game when they're trying to close it out.
Dude...you can take that pragmatism and logic of yours right the hell out of here now, capisce??.....lol

Garland playing tonight per Fanduel (LM still out). Levert playing but gave no word on if he'd start (my guess is he does not).

Don't worry, y'all still have I.O. and R.R. to the rescue....:D
Been beating teams like this without Garland and Levert. No excuse not to take this one.

All seriousness, I wonder how much Rondo will be playing going forward. He is one of the only true PGs other than DG, but I guess Levert could run the point if need be. My guess is he gets 10-12 minutes/night once everyone settles in.

I wished I watched enough to tell you how I really feel about thibs…

Conditioning, you don’t wear a player out if they are properly conditioned. Period .

Clearly , Robinson, came into this season without any form if it. Winging it during a reg season game hoping by the time teams bare down he’d be ready . Is he?

Also, This shit is rampant throughout the league. This is why fans are becoming disinterested , sittin waiting for march madness to get their feel.

Thibs, was a coach who stressed fundamentals! Was!
Tell the truth, you want them to bring back the shorty shorts don’t you?

I disagree slightly.

I do think most pro athletes want to play all game every game.

However, they also know that it is a wise investment to take some time on the bench to rest and conserve energy.

And all the conditioning in the world does not make it a good idea to play a guy 48 minutes a night. Just isn’t sustainable.

I have to disagree a little slightlier…

Players these days don’t have say of how much time they play, because of the “investment” made in them.

Capice!!! Que fa

T lance, this is for you since you be the chosen one on here …

There was a post , I forget where I saw it..

It was about nepotism in sports …

How is it today , now this is in all major sports , more in basketball I feel , that former players kids are all studs in the league today.

Have we lowered the standards of what a pro athlete should be , cause in my day , I saw first hand sons of former players who absolutely sucked, took opportunities away from players more deserving, and never got to the show. Not even a cup of coffee.

Today , there are so many players who are studs in league whose fathers played who weren’t. to me it’s unprecedented.

LOL.

There are a few kids of former players who are good pros.

Genetics plays a huge role in that.

It is much harder to make it the NBA today than it was at any other time. Global competition. Being a son of a former player does create some small advantages beyond just genetics, but if the kid can’t play, they won’t last.

not saying it would happen

but how would the CAvs be if the HArden deal fell through- and they dealt Okoro, Sexton, Markkanen and a 1st for Simmons?

PG: Garland
SG: LeVert
SF: Simmons
PF: Mobley
C: Allen

hmmmmmmmmmmmm......

not happening- but defensively? geez.
