its not a huge deal that Bazemore has 7 minutes and Ariza 12 minutes- okay- i know that.

but- your playing fucking 11 guys Vogel. Bazemore is cooked. Ariza is cooked. Try and find a semi-stable rotation instead of just throwing shit against the wall.

If you are going to play young guys like Reeves and THT- then play them! No reason to go 11 deep. Get some consistency. Let guys know what to expect night-in-and-night out.

Vogel did a great job with the bubble Lakers but has lost his luster since.

His subbing patterns are bizarre to say the least.

The Lakers would get hosed on that deal. Walker has had way too many injuries. Fournier is pedestrian. This trade has the same stench as the Houston Westbrook-Wall swap.

The Knicks get their PG and the Lakers get some shooters in Fournier and Burks. Fournier hasn't been great in NY but he's making 40 percent and Burks is making 38 percent.

Whatever they get out of Walker is a bonus.

Yeah, at this point, it might be best to just ride out the season with Westbrook and hope that when Lebron comes back, they can stay healthy and get things figured out before the playoffs start.

His contract has a player option on it, which he'd have to be crazy to not pick up. Maybe in the off-season they can move him as an expiring contract?

I'd be surprised if Lebron takes less than a max deal. If memory serves, he said, either when he was in Miami or the 2nd stint in Cleveland, that he wasn't going to take less anymore. Maybe he changes his mind if the Lakers can convince him that it's the only way to get the pieces to get another ring?

No matter what happens the rest of the way, it's going to be another interesting off-season. Even if they win a title, they can't just run it back with the same group next year.

Have you looked at their roster? They've got plenty of salary and decent pieces to move for the players they want. And with all the picks they have, they definitely have enough assets to be players in the trade market. They aren't gonna get someone like Harden, but they're definitely not some asset poor team to laugh at
