Agreed. It makes for entertaining follows around the league most nights but damn it’s frustrating when it’s your squad that lays a dooker.
Yes......different circumstances as we are down 4 of our top 6-7 guys but for Cavs fans is frustrating we are not taking advantage of this portion of our schedule.

That said, had garland so no excuse for losing to Detroit...after crushing the Bucks

Yep a couple things are frustrating. They have zero playmakers at this point, you could say Goodwin and Mobley are the only real playmakers and Mobley is still a rookie so it's hit or miss.
FT's...wtf is going on with that?
They need to make a move sooner rather than later bc without Garland this team can lose to any given team. I understand they are out 3 other playmakers but 2 of them are out for season.
Wasn't impressed with Gordon, just one night, but he isn't worth a 1st imo. I would rather them go after Barnes, possibly LeVert but of course LeVert has the injury history as well.

Started out shooting FTs so much better as a team, too. Not sure what's happened over the last few weeks.

Mobley tried to win that one himself....and nearly did until the implosion of TOs the last few minutes.

Reportedly they're trying to move a player or two before the deadline to open up more minutes for Cam.
Don’t know the way it is today, but you could not trade a player who is hurt . Cam not playing to me means he’s the one to be traded .

There are other options....

ESPN's Brian Windhorst recently said on NBA Today the Knicks "have expressed a willingness to trade some of their veteran players," naming Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier and Alec Burks as specific examples. Selling, it seems, is absolutely an option.

Thibs has totally become an overrated head coach.
His best days are long gone.

Tough for a defensive minded coach to get the most out of guys that historically were not defensively talented. His roster this year is lacking some of the defenders he had last year, whether due to injury or offseason movement.

Hey Chrisper, does the league have a defender that can keep Morant from NOT scoring in the paint? Pretty scarce at this point and that skywalker ain't going to wait around for the rest of the league find one!

If the stories are all true, what the Lakers have done to the icon is unconscionable. Cheap shit business practices in my opinion. I guarantee the Lakers would be in a better place today, if Jeanine Buss did not ignore the offering by Jerry West to become her GM!

Maybe Dolan & the Brickabockers are just jinxed? :heh: I mean how you doing?
They are in a weird shituation. There are many good players, potential coaches & GM candidates alike out there who don't want to play/work for the Knicks based on who the owner is, and also for some of the things he's said and done in the past...while others just don't want to play there because of the magnitude of being under the lights and microscope of NYC and the tough media there. Ironically, most visiting teams/players look forward to playing and thrive there because of it. MSG is the "Mecca for hoopers.

That said: some call it a jinx or a curse, or even karma..and there might be some truth to that. It just seems they struggle to get over the hump of mediocrity year after year..and when they do become a better, serious and watchable team every now and again it's short lived and they revert back to their old ways like clockwork or by design. There's no consistency from top to bottom other than being fundamentally lacking too often for their own good.
I made a remark in here during last night's game about momentum, which applies to the franchise as well.
(the object of momentum is to keep it once you get it....not to give it right back)
It just is what it is...an enigma.

As far as me goes...I'm totally good. :thumb:
This isn't some life changing tragedy or anything lol.
The thing about being a fan of any sports team, is how you ride with them through the good & bad times.
Do you bail on them when they underperform time and time again?..or hang with them no matter what?
For me it's the latter....always been, thru thick & thin.
