@WiggyRuss this should get you rustled. Some things just don’t make sense

In year three for the 22-year-old Garland, he’s averaging 19.8 points, 8.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds, while shooting .467/.396./.907, with an offensive RAPTOR of +3.9, a defensive one of -0.3, and a box +/- of +7.2 on the season.

In year eight, for the 26-year-old Wiggins, he’s averaging 18.3 points, 2.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds, while shooting .487/.416/.671, with an offensive RAPTOR of +0.9, a defensive one of +1.9, and a box +/- of +5.9 on the season.

Also, keep in mind that Wiggins is the number three option on the team now, (formerly number two), while Garland is not only the number one option on his team, but he’s also the facilitator for most of the offense. Something Wiggins is not.

How did Popovich get his ass beat so bad in the 4th quarter by the Warriors bench?

Pop should have retired when Manu retired a couple years back. No idea why he's still holding on.
He does seem to be just playing out the string

I mean- a ton of non La fans are talking about the Lakers because they have been the biggest disappointments in basketball. Its only natural when a team is knocked off their pedestal and go from being one of, if not the favorite, to come out of the West- to being 24-27 and in 9th place.

a ton of LA fans are not talking about the Lakers because they are not contenders when everyone thought they would be and are now 9th in the West and 3 games under .500. Not rocket science- its not as fun to talk about a mediocre team that is underachieving.

i mean- its not rocket science- when the Cavs sucked- people didnt talk about them as much. When they are .5 games out of first place on February 2nd and the biggest surprise in basketball- people are talking about them more.

You're such a douchebag. You wouldn't be saying anything about the Lakers this season if LeBron didn't play for them.

It's hilarious he's still in your very limited head 24/7. Nobody hates LeBron like you. Which is funny since you hung on his junk nonstop when he played for the Cavs. Only to have issues with him twice the moment he left.

lol

When the Lakers are good, non-Lakers fans talk about them because they don't like them and complain. When the Lakers are struggling, non-Lakers fans talk about them because that's their chance to get their shots in before the Lakers start winning again. I mean, it's day 2 and here you are, a non-Lakers fan still talking about the Lakers.

You are trying to deflect because you post about the Cavs like this is the Cavs board and got called out for it because no one gives a shit about the Cavs.

He's not that far behind Don Nelson for most wins all time.
Pop is gonna break that record in a matter of days.... and he will have done it in fewer games.

Top 5 coaching wins all time....

Nelson
Wilkins
Popovich
Sloan
Riley

Probably the main reason he's still around and likely to retire after this season after he passes Nelson

I just think the guy lost his wife and if you took basketball away from him he wouldn’t have much to live for. You see that sometimes with those Lifers in sports, especially in college football. Bear Bryant and Joe Paterno clung on as long as they could because both men feared what would life be like after football. I don’t think it’s coincidence that both men passed soon after walking away from the sport.

Same with George Allen. He coached almost literally until the day he died. Took over a Long Beach State program that was on the verge of collapse (just to keep coaching) and promised a winning record. He coached his last game on Nov. 17th 1990, his team won, finishing with a 6-5 record. He died Dec. 31st 1990.

def....

I mean- with Garland being beat up, Markkanen out, i dont give it a very high chance at all- possible, but unlikely. Even if both those guys were fully healthy id still give it a slim chance

schedule till the ASB does help though
It's only through Sunday for the choosing of the coach.
