FanDuel just posted ROTY odds today. Took a flyer on Mobley +750. Hopefully he continues to perform and I can sell off the pick. My futures shit usually blows though (sorry Cavs guys). I have Devonta Smith 9 TDs or better ( stop laughing at me). Dude scored a TD game 1 and hasn’t scored since unless of course you count the 4 TDs he’s had called back on him for penalty. I jinxed the kid

Curious how long Cunningham is out, that is the wildcard. Seems like the other guy could be Jaylen Green or even Chris Duarte but Green has been inconsistent early and Mobley’s defensive game really helps him.

Not yet it's not. The biggest problem has been defense and communication, which was expected. There are 9 new faces and they don't have rotations figured out yet. If it's still like this at about Christmas, then it will be concerning.

Yeah it was amazing that SA did the same drive and dump to Poetl over and over and the Lakers could not stop it. I think the defense can get much better but the communication seems to be the main issue. That will happen with a team with all new pieces, it's just how far can they take? Average, good, great or elite. I'm guessing somewhere in between

Poeltl doing what he did was about lacking communication. Because of that, SA kept getting the mismatch they wanted.

Imo, they don't need to be great or elite. With their offense, they'll always be able to score. But they need to be at least above average to win a title.
