Not moving shit. Im showing you how pointless advanced stats can be. Using PER in any argument is silly.
Cool. Allen is better in many traditional stats, too.

I can use PER, WS, offensive and defensive rating, VORP, FG %, rebounds and blocks, too.

But, hey, you can lie to try and make your point...even if it hurts you.

hmmmmm......I would say probably.......but I dont know.

Allen is going to be an all star- and is signed for 4 more years for a very reasonable 80 million. He is the best defensive player and rim protector on currently the best defense in the East, and is super efficient offensively. He is basically a poor man's Gobert (though he is only 23). He could grow into that type of player- while obviously prob. not having the upside of 3+ DPOY year awards.

It surprises me- but Bam is actually older than Allen.

Allen- great defense- better rim protector by far than Bam- and can guard the perimeter. more efficient offensively. Bam is a better passer. Really the only thing that Bam does markedly better than Allen.
And even though he dismisses it Allen blows Bam away in what seems to be the most used advanced stats....PER, WS, VORP and O/D rating (per 100 poss.)

In addition, what would Bam offer that we don't already get from Mobley or will be getting way before his rookie deal expires? And Mobley can pass and hit a 3 pointer. Mobley is at 2.7 apg as a rookie. Bam didn't reach that level until his 3rd season.

Isn't to say I'm sure we would not make the deal but for sure it's not even close a a no-brainer to do it.

The Knicks could have a team of Curry, Giannis, LeBron, KD & Jokic that's coached by Popovich with the best record in the league by far over all other teams.....and pasta would still be an insufferable bellyaching hater for no good reason whatsoever.

A 3 ball isn't necessary for Bam. He does attempt mid range jump shots and is rarely in the post so suggesting that he clogs up lane is very low basketball IQ.
Saying if he could make a 3 "to open up the lane a little more for others" is not exactly saying he clogs the paint, FYI.

Though you did lie and say he takes half his shots from 10-16 feet when the truth is he takes 65% of his shots from 0-10 feet (most of which are....wait for it......in the paint). It's almost like you don't even watch the guy play.

Maybe the guy who thought Bam takes half his shots from 10-16 feet doesn't watch, eh?

His shots may come from closer, but most of his touches originate 15-20 feet from the rim. They run offense through him as a passer, somewhat similar to how Denver uses Jokic at the high post.

Bam can’t shoot like Jokic, but in no way is a he a guy who “clogs the paint”.

Yep last year heat offense damn near ran through him at top of the key. Lots of dribble hand offs
