This Board has a weird obsession with hating gobert
I like him

I mean, defense kind of matters, no? Holding teams to 106 per 100 possessions with Gobert but 119 without.
Why do you keep slamming Gobert?
Guess they are OK with Gobert not taking more shots nor developing an outside game.Looks about right
And LA is kind of a FA destination city AND had cap space for another max guy in addition to Lebron and AD.

Just imagine if Bam could make a 3...it would open up the lane for others or at the very least force the D to care about him on the perimeter.Did i say defense didn’t matter? But offense does as well. Just imagine if Gobert had a post move. It would require a double at times which would give their shooters open looks which is needed in the playoffs whe every team is absolutely locked in

FYI, I think Bam is a tremendous talent. Just wonder why you have such a double standard on this one. If you are one to care about advanced stats, Gobert blows Bam away in the most popular ones (as does J. Allen)
Durant should probably be #1. Haven’t been his biggest fan over the years, but you can’t give it to Jokic when his team has a .500-ish record.
pretty decent list i think
No kidding. Still not entirely sold on the Cavs this year though in spite of their weak schedule. Wouldn’t surprise me if a healthy Toronto team passed them in the standings.

15.5 pts on 70% shooting seems pretty good to me.Did i say defense didn’t matter? But offense does as well. Just imagine if Gobert had a post move. It would require a double at times which would give their shooters open looks which is needed in the playoffs whe every team is absolutely locked in

do you realize how helpful it is to an offense to be able to count on that kind of efficient production every game?
70% shooting is ridiculous no matter where you shoot it from if yo uare getting 15+ points a game.
I'd say he's a borderline HOF at best.Howard is a hall of famer. easily first ballot slam dunk.
and more shots isn't necessary for GobertA 3 ball isn't necessary for Bam. He does attempt mid range jump shots and is rarely in the post so suggesting that he clogs up lane is very low basketball IQ.
He shot almost half of his attempts last year from 10-16 feet. You sound stupid suggesting that he clogs up the lane when he is rarely in the post
