At least with Westbrook I know he'll show up every night and play every second like it's game 7 of the finals.

Kyrie? He'd be great for a few games and then decide he needs to sit out the season to raise awareness about climate change melting the ice wall that keeps cats from pushing everything off of the earth. (assuming he was still healthy at the time).

The little fuckers do that shit too.

One of my wife's 3 cats has decided that my wife only has 2 cats and I have 1. I work from home and when she decides it's time to stop working and pay attention to her, she jumps on my desk and starts knocking stuff off of it. lol

Thunder got the Warriors in town tonight. Looking for our first win, we will still be looking tomorrow. Anxious to see if Giddey can follow up his last game.

Honestly, all things considered. I'd rather keep Westbrook...and that's coming from me who has always referred to him as "my favorite player to watch play for someone else".

While all that is true about Kyrie…

If he said he was okay with playing in LA you make that trade without a second thought.

Because watching LA, it is clear they need more shooting. Kyrie is just a lot better than Russ at this point.

Definitely. But also with some assurances that he's gonna play.

An engaged Kyrie makes winning a title easier.

It can still be done with Westbrook...but it'll definitely be harder.

Jeremiah Robinson Earl with the first 5 points of the game. For the old timers, his dad was Lester Earl.

One challenge per game, right? Weird they challenge in the 1Q. Risky but it worked. You get one more if successful?

Looks like this might be a trap game for Golden State.
The undefeated Dubs are down by 15 to the winless Thunder about midway thru the 2nd qtr.
It's still early though....Adjustments will be made....but will they work?

Meh they can make that up with one nice shooting streak but OKC is playing some good ball

No doubt there will be a run, nice to see some of the Thunders pieces playing well. I really like Earl.

I am enjoying the new 3-point defense rules interpretation.

It might not stop 150-130 games completely and go back to 85-80..., but it will at least slow down the insane scoring and 3-point madness.

Defenses can actually defend the 3-point shot again.

No other league is so self-aware and constantly looks to improve its product in smart subtle incremental tweaks.

James Harden can go pound sand if he hates the new rules. It is good for the game.

No you run it by Lebron first. I don't think Lebron like him very much and vice versa. Not sure if Lebron would want to play with him again if he had a choice. I actually think he prefers to kick his ass in the NBA Finals

The problem with that is that he has to kick KDs ass too.
