Yeah that's what I remember, so that's my point. Hiring Nash is much more head scratching than hiring Kerr, for many reasons.

I'm not sure if Kerr was ever actually an assistant coach under Pop, but he played several seasons for the Spurs late in his career. Kerr must've also learned from Phil Jackson.

He's not. Honestly as much as i was laughing at Klay earlier, people like AD in the top 75 is probably what pisses him off

This Lakers team is straight up garbage.

They are running no offense whatsoever. Everything is a simple 2 man screen at the start of a possession with 3 guys standing around doing nothing and if that doesn't free anything up, it turns into an Iso with 4 guys standing around doing nothing.

They are totally disjointed on defense. No communication. Lazy effort. Most of them are lost and out of position.

This is beyond "we need time to get to know each other". A lot of this is a structural coaching issue. If this carries on for a couple more games, they should strongly consider firing Vogel.

The defense is really bad
