Predict this season's College Football Playoff for a chance to up to quadruple your vcash total!
I am funding the prizes myself.
Rules for this free contest:
(1) Deadline: The deadline for this contest is the START of the noon Eastern Time games on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
(2) Entrance Requirements: To enter this contest, your account must have already been created by the present time with a postcount of at least 100.
(3) How to Enter: Enter this contest by simply submitting a post to this thread with your username followed by your predictions for the 4 playoff participants. Seeding doesn't matter for this contest, so list the schools ALPHABETICALLY, not by seed, to make it easier to check the entries for the contest winners. For example, here is my own official entry into this contest:
If you cannot follow this simple format, then your entry will not count!
(4) Only ONE Entry/Submission Per Poster/User: If you submit multiple entries/submissions, you will be disqualified.
(5) Disqualification: If there is some loophole I forgot to cover in these rules, then ask me for clarification first. For example, since the prizes, as described below, involve doubling or quadrupling total vcash, a player might collude with another player to take out a "loan" to temporarily increase their vcash beyond what it should be at the time of doubling/quadrupling. Doing stuff like that will get you disqualified.
(6) Prizes: Prizes will be awarded after this season's College Football Playoff participants are officially announced by the College Football Playoff committee. Since the CFP committee is currently scheduled to release their final rankings on Sunday, December 5, 2021, this will basically be like an early Christmas present for the winners!
The winner of this contest will be the FIRST post that correctly calls all 4 playoff participants. All slower posts that correctly call all 4 playoff participants before the above-mentioned Saturday noon deadline will be considered runners-up. Prizes are as follows:
- If you are the winner (the first to call all 4 playoff participants correctly), in honor of there being 4 playoff participants, I will QUADRUPLE up to $100,000 of your total vcash at the time the CFP participants are announced. (Logistically, I will do this by making two member bets with you, doubling your total vcash each time, thus in total quadrupling up to $100,000 of your total vcash.)
- For the first 3 runners-up (next three who called all 4 playoff participants correctly by the above-mentioned Saturday noon deadline), I will DOUBLE up to $100,000 of your total vcash at the time the CFP participants are announced. (Logistically, I will do this by making one member bet with you, doubling up to $100,000 of your total vcash.)
- The limits are to ensure that I will be able to cover the prize.
- Example 1: If you are the winner, and your total vcash at the time the CFP is announced is $70,000, then I will quadruple it to $280,000, so I will give you $210,000 vcash.
- Example 2: If you are the winner, and your total vcash at the time the CFP is announced is $130,000, then I will quadruple up to $100,000 of it to $400,000, so I will give you $300,000 vcash.
- Example 3: If you are one of the first 3 runners-up, and your total vcash at the time the CFP is announced is $30,000, then I will double it to $60,000, so I will give you $30,000 vcash.
- Example 4: If you are one of the first 3 runners-up, and your total vcash at the time the CFP is announced is $130,000, then I will double up to $100,000 of it to $200,000, so I will give you $100,000 vcash.
I am thus potentially giving away thousands and thousands of vcash in prizes!
