In fairness,
Beverly is also an elite defender. Top 3 perimeter defender in the NBA.
And in the games KD struggled, Beverly was allowed to drape himself all over KD any time he was away from the ball.
But yes. Durant should be able to get any shotnhe wants against Beverly. And he did last night.
Ok, so what series do you all think go past 5 games?
I think these do:
Brooklyn/Philly
Denver/San Antonio
OKC/Portland
Maybe Toronto/Orlando
Rest should be done in 5 or less, IMO.
No question he is a great defender and he needs to fight through contact. He was just tentative either way in those first 2 games. Like I said before when the W's actually need him he will step up, he will. He can pretty much just sit back and let his teammates do work at times. Life is easy lol.
I think Denver will win another one maybe two.
OKC I think they split the next two games. So that one is tough. I think OKC will fight.
You think Brooklyn can take one more? Going to be tough, their defense looked like shit.
Toronto wins in 5 most likely.
Pelinka still the GM, isn't he?Shouldn't they be looking to get a GM before hiring a head coach?
No one looks to be playing D, but they might have blown their shot at home and Philly with no Embid. Unless he keeps sitting out, of course.I do think Brooklyn gets one, maybe 2.
Philly's defense doesn't really look much better to me. First team to 125 wins!

I was thinking it may end up pretty tricky for the schedule makers
Definitely looked like they could lose Game 2, but never thought they were in danger of losing the series......or even going past 5 games. Also crazy that to this point, 2 of the 3 least competitive series have been 4/5 matchups.
Probably unfair of me to say Boston and Indy has been uncompetitive. Games have been close. But watching them I never really felt like Boston was in real danger of losing.
