It looks like he wasn't milking his injury, but rather dealing with an unknown time table. His calf injury in game 5 wasn't fully healed, but he could still play through it, before he suffered his unrelated Achilles injury.

Raptors start the game with a lot of 3's, but the Warriors have gotten a few 2nd chance points, keeping it to within 17 - 12.

That's why it's not a "perfect" start for the Raptors.

BTW, I loved Magloire in the 2004 All-Star game. People questioned the coaches voting him in, but he scored 17 points in the game, and would have won MVP if the East had won.

I like how Doris Burke referenced DeRozan, during the interview with Lowry.

And Z-Bo and Mike Conley, with respect to Marc Gasol.

It's a recognition that the championship was not just about this year, but about these past experiences these players had.

Lowry with 10 assists, 3 steals in this game, in addition to the 20+ points.

Isiah Thomas tells Lowry that he's been the best leader the Raptors franchise has had.

The Warriors still had 2 Hall Of Famers on the court with Curry and Green. And also Thompson for most of the game.

Remember, the Raptors were swept in the first round by the Wizards in 2015.

I don't know how much I believe this, but Thompson got an MRI while the game was going on. He didn't know who won.

I don't know why they couldn't have waited until after the game.

How does a journalist even know Klay said these things? This sounds like someone writing a story.
