i think management failing to improve the pitching says they didn't have confidence in this team to get it done, so why waste the money.

I agree bro. I am most pissed off that the FO didn't do its job and get us the type of pitchers we needed to win. They offense was there. They had months to get something done...but didn't do jack shit. Had they done so, and gotten us a legit starter and legit closer, you can add 5 wins to our total, if not more. But no.
