Huskers just secured a series win against 1st place Michigan, 7-0.

3rd and final game tonight, weather permitting.

Huskers now a 1/2 game back of first place in the conference. Need a sweep and help from Rutgers and Sparty

Loses series 0-3 at Indiana
Wins series 3-0 vs Illinois
Wins series 2-1 vs Rutgers

Wins series 2-1 vs Nebraska
Wins series 2-1 at Ohio State
Wins series 2-1 vs UC Irvine (Non-conference, idk how big of a win that was but UC Irvine was ranked when they faced Iowa)

At this point, Iowa was 1 game down from 1st (Michigan) and .5 game down from 2nd (Indiana) in B1G, and Nebraska who was .5 down on Iowa right here still had to play Michigan. They also had a series win at Oklahoma State. They reached 24th ranking right here according to d1baseball.com

And then...

Iowa lost series 1-2 vs Michigan State
Iowa lost series 0-3 at Maryland (season finale today)

Now they are tied for 6th place in the standing with Maryland and Ohio State.

Bummed about today. We'd be able to jump Baylor in the rankings nationally and in the conference if we'd have won today.

I'm very pleasantly surprised with this season too.
