I follow this stuff probably a bit closer than most, though I know many on here have their sources as well. However, thought I would offer to answer some questions as the first signing day comes closing in on us. Fire away...

Ty's is going to come down to signing day, I think connections at Nebraska will win out but Bama wants him more than I thought they would and Oregon is no slouch on the recruiting trail. Gonna be interesting to follow until then.

Nash Hutmacher is basically N in my opinion. Will be a heck of a get and a NT at the next level.

Academics are an issue for him, was supposed to be able to enroll at semester, now he can't anymore. Same reason FSU decided to pass on him. I would be surprised if he is a part of the class in the end, but he hasn't decommitted yet so maybe there's still an idea that he could be used even if he can't come until the summer?

Tony Fair is another one to watch, he had a ton of coursework to do this semester to qualify to come in, in the spring. If he didn't get it done I would guess that we would drop him and look elsewhere. Supposed to find out soon.

Any news from the Home Grown event, I see some Walkons pulled the trigger. Maybe our biggest walkon class since like pre Solich ?

Good event, had multiple guys with FCS offers commit to walk on, not sure on size though. They have to be careful with roster size because of title ix.

I've heard those too, but not sure. Avery wanted to come to Nebraska last recruiting cycle, was shut down by Riley and Co when they had Mapieu... who didn't qualify. So it wouldn't surprise me all that much but I'm not holding my breath.
