With no line to post yet, I guess Vegas doesn't even know what to think.
So have at it.............
So have at it.............
Not that scary of a team.
I would say final score is sometime like 31-17 Michigan.
Nebraska probably covers the spread.
What spread?
If we have Martinez and play mistake free I can see a win. If we keep playing the same way and spotting the other team 2-3 scores we have no chance. I"m going to say our O-Line doesn't improve much so I'm going with a 21-31 loss. But maybe they'll surprise me and put things together this week.
A win at Michigan would be considered one of the biggest surprises in all of College Football with where Nebraska is currently at.
Not disagreeing completely, but I think Nebraska is extremely close to overcoming this gap. This is where the coaches earn their money, fixing the things that are well within their control to fix on short notice. IMO, penalties and turnovers have been our poison, even worse than special teams and our secondary.
If we stay healthy (especially AM), we're going to have a big win at some point. Michigan, MSU, and Wisconsin all look beatable. To be honest, I'd bet Iowa will be the team to beat in the west. Their D looks disgustingly good. I think we're close, but the coaches need to keep them motivated. This group of players, they've been bred by Riley to quit when they get down.
But then there are the other things like giving up a punt return for a TD for instance. There was a plethora of shit that went wrong on that return, looked like a damn circus orchestrated by Mike Riley.
Bunch got flushed out of the pocket time and time again against Troy’s average DL. What happens this week against Michigan’s NFL caliber DL? I think Martinez will make a difference but I don’t think it will be enough to overcome the fact that Michigan just has more talent and more time playing together under the same staff.
