lol.... no. Fuck out of here faggotThe Brewers have the most young talent in their minor league system.
Mad respect to the man, but he does NOT deserve the Jackie Robinson treatment...

There have been rumors...MLB went full retard with Jackie. Thankfully, they aren't quite there with Clemente.

Warren Spahn was a WWII vet and came before Clemente. If they retire 21 throughout the game, this Braves fan will be a bit jaded since 21 has been a retired number for the Braves since 1965.
Clemente was a US Marine Corp reserve. His #21 was retired by the Pirates in 1973.
Spahn never played for Atlanta. His entire Braves career was spent in Boston & Milwaukee.
The year they moved to Atlanta in 1965, when his #21 was retired, Spahn was a member of the NY Mets & then the SF Giants before he retired at the end of the season.
I don't think MLB has any plans of retiring the number 21 across the board.
I'm okay with 42 being a retired number for all MLB teams...as it holds historic significance both in & outside of the game.
Very underrated. I never really realized how bad-ass he was until the best-of tourney we had here a year or so back.
I'm game for more Player X Days.MLB went full retard with Jackie. Thankfully, they aren't quite there with Clemente.
Maybe not every year, but honor a few guys each year.I'm game for more Player X Days.
Gehrig Day
Mays Day
Aaron Day
Koufax Day
Across the game, everyone pays tribute with their number on their back.
But I don't want to see any other numbers retired either.
