Not with the money he has made. His chances of playing anywhere but Minnesota, are almost non-existent. Even on a veteran's minimum, there's only 1 team that would find value for a light hitting 1st baseman, and he's on that team.

I can't imagine the current front office will make more than a gentleman's offer, ignoring sentiment.

I don't know, say he plays another 3 years and gets to about 2,500 hits I can see him trying to hang on for a few years hoping to get to 3,000. I honestly think the front office gives him way more than what he's worth to stay, like 4 years $80M

Apparently Mauer told Molitor he already had 5 5 hit games so he would come out if Paul let him play 1st today.

This ump is a complete joke. He's giving Santana none of what Kennedy is getting and it's changing ABs regularly.
