yea, and he is my number one bust pick this season...

When you say bust what are you talking? Not top 10 level of production or not top 50 level of production? To me, you want your top 2-3 round picks to at least finish as top 60 fantasy players. According to Ray Flowers, only about a third of the players drafted in the first round return first round value.

good question... I don't think Mookie will be fantasy irrelevant... But I wouldn't be surprised if he is outside the top 20...

I don't know about Milk, but I personally don't believe in his power just yet. The question is really how much will it drop? I believe his 31 last year will likely be a career high, so is his true level a 20-25 HR or is it more 15-20? Either way, if he maintains 30+ steal potential, and strong in runs and average, he is pretty safe bet to be a top 50 player. But if people draft him expecting 30/30/100/100/.300 I think they are crazy.

a lot of things... You saw me in the bust thread talk about how HRs in general have to come down... So with that, I will just not trust any player young or not who had their career best in HRs last season...

I was never a big Big Papi fan, but he really was the team's go to power guy... He was who you feared... so teams would allow other players to beat them... and I do think his retirement season acted as motivation for that offense to be the best offense in baseball... and it wasn't even close...

So, if I am expecting HRs to go down, Red sox offense to go down... How can I not expect Mookie to go down??

Benintendi looks like he will be a good player, but there is really nobody anymore to take the show away from mookie... it is now his show... he is the player that pitchers are going to come in to beat...

and for such a stud player last season, he only walked 49 times... numbers like that are not going to change much, so we know that he is not a patient hitter...

I didn't realize HOW down I was on betts. Might actually skip him if he fell to me in the second round in all drafts.
