Ward is a good talent, definite red shirt year to get acclimated. He's not a reach though, teams backed off due to academic questions. He has some work to do to get qualified but he definitely can get it done.

Has Riley ever had NFL level Offensive Linemen?

There are currently 4 former OSU OL in the NFL...Andy Levitre who plays for Atlanta seems to be the best. He was a 2nd rounder in 2009.

I hope so but I'm not so confident. That said, anyone complaining that we're only recruiting prima donna wide receivers should take a look at what some of these big uglies are saying about us and our recruiting efforts.

Clouse thinks we will get 2 verbals from the AA game, one is Calvin, two comes from the list Fiddy put down, so in other words it's really just one but he's selling two as click bait. Generally for a recruiting analyst something like that really dings your rep, with Clouse however there's no danger of that insofar that he's none to begin with, other than being a homer

He lights up and goes on and on when asked about Nebraska. After going on about Nebraska he said he's already made up his mind. I dunno man.

It checks off all of his boxes.

Calvin for sure. We just didn't have the season we needed to land a handful of these guys.

It would have been so much easier if we stayed healthy and beat Wisconsin.

We can never quite get over the hump in those critical recruiting years.

One thing that has to be made abundantly clear: He can't afford multiple misses in this class. He can hardly afford a single one.

Not nervous just tired of waiting for a good season to turn the corner in recruiting, now that we have a staff that can actually recruit in the event we did have a good season. The last staff couldn't sell arguably one of the best DT ever in CFB to a single recruit
